Pen Cerrig Calch Fell Race

This fell race claims to be 1500ft climb in 3 miles and starts from Ty Mawr Farm, nr. Llanbedr (GR SO 234206), starting at 2pm (details taken from http://www.wfra.org.uk/).

A few Harriers made it to the event on a quite evil day - wind and rain in abundance. So bad that the race was shortened on safety grounds.
Matthew Stott came in a creditable 5th in what was a Welsh Championship race - good run!
Sue won her category in this race as well as a trophy for the Winter League series, retaining her 1st place for another year.
Better than sitting at home!
