Welsh Castles Weekend - Phew!

Another exhausting but rewarding WCR weekend. Results will be out soon, but all the runners want to say thanks very much to the support crew without whom ……

Lorna Shaw, Andy and Alison Bray, Andy Creber and Eric were so busy transporting runners to their start and keeping them watered and cheered on, with Lorna and Andy B even finding time to run a stage!

Geoff B and Chris were my minibus co-drivers, and  also found time to run.

And finally thanks to our Leader, Andy O, who spent hours planning everything, directed things magnificently over the weekend, and also found time to run a stage.

And next year - well it’ll be another hectic weekend of  haring around the countryside, jumping out the bus and racing 10 miles, sitting round the campfire in the evening and generally having fun.

So when the call goes out for volunteers in June 2009, book yourself on a marvellous trip. All the 2008 Class certainly will.
