Tonight – 400m Speed Session Option

Shirenewton Runs are scheduled for tonight but in addition I have had requests for a speed session – the 10 x 400m on the Severn Bridge.

So if you fancy (?!) / need a tough speed session we will be jogging down to the start just through the gates onto the Bridge for 10 x 400m reps with 200m jog recovery.

Off to remark it now.

Most importantly don’t forget later its Tom and Astrid’s final Curry Night at The Bell Hanger.

Gwent League Cross Country Today

Thanks to everyone who came to run or help at the cross country today.

It was a beautiful day for it and we managed two full teams.

It was great to have the tent arrive and get kitted out with chairs like a little camp site – thanks very much Andy you did a wonderful job.

Many thanks to Linda and James for doing all the registration and finish numbers very good of you – hope it went ok?

Thanks to Vanessa and Matthew for travelling such a long way for two little ones ( Ruben and Seth I mean ) and for running so well too!

Thanks to Judith, Berta and Rob for being great company on the way there and Rob for entertaining Ceri so well – you’re a natural Dad!

Thanks to Neil and Andy Stott for coming along for the men’s race and running so well – there was a close battle between Andy, Neil and Rob – ending in that order – it was good to spectate.

And thanks too to Gerry and Sue – I didn’t think you were going to make it – lovely to see you both – thanks for running Gerry.

Stuart and Marianne both had another dazzling run.  Stuart came in 38th and Marianne 4th  well done and congratulations to our superstars.
